Community Groups have decorated Xmas trees – these are on display at St Pauls Cathedral,in  the Octagaon  Dunedin . Well worth a visit . they are on display till 5 pm  Monday 12th December The Dunedin RSA has a tree displayed .

More than 500 crosses are planted at Dunedins Queens Gardens to symbolise the loss of Otago men in the 1916 Somme campaign in northern France . The crosses will be there until Armistice Day. Each cross bore the name, service number and rank of a soldier.
